Minimum stay and refund policy
Minimum stay: 3 nights
- Cancellation over 90 days: full refund less $50 booking fee and any bank charges.
- Within 90-60 days: 1 night's charge is due.
- 60-30 days: 2 night's charge is due.
- Part cancellations within 60 days incur a 15% per night cancelled fee.
- Inside 30 days: 50% of the total booking charge is due.
- No shows full accommodation charge.
- Payment due on arrival for booked dates, no refunds will be given for early departure after check-in.
Deposit required to confirming a booking at Apartments Kakera Rarotonga.
- When booking with Apartments Kakera Rarotonga a deposit of two nights accommodation charge will be required to secure an accommodation only booking.
- A fix deposit is require to secure a wedding or package booking.
- Three night minimum stays bookings, the full charge is due on booking confirmation.
Deposit amounts will be deducted from arrival total. Full payment is available on booking. Forms of payment accepted:
Online transfers or deposits in to Apts Kakera NZ or Australian bank accounts
Form of payment accepted: telegraphic transfer, online transfer and cash deposits.
Credit Cards used as payment for deposits have a 3% service fee added to the total. The following cards are accepted: Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

Confirmed bookings are subject to availability and are not guaranteed. Upgrades may be offered if booked apartment is unavailable for any reason.
Check in/out Early in/out
Our check-in time is 11.30 am and check-out 10am. For your comfort and to guarantee your apartment is available upon arrival at the Apartments Kakera we recommended that you pre-registering your accommodation from an early check-in or late check-out where required. See rates page more details.
Extra charge services available at Apartments Kakera
Air-conditioning is an additional charge Apt Ra: NZ$40 per day or NZ$230 per week and Apt Pepe: NZ$45 per day or NZ$295 per week. Price listin Apartment for the following extras: clothes dryer, babysitting, in-house spa pampering, in house menu, vechicle hireage .
